Moraine Valley helps each student meet his or her personal, educational and career goals by providing students with excellent support services designed to facilitate student learning, development and success. The multitude of services offered at Moraine Valley help students find personal and academic mentors, engage in the campus community, move along the path to degree or certificate completion, and so much more.
Bridge to Moraine
Bridge to Moraine program is offered for one week during the summer to assist incoming students prepare for the first term in college. The program is supported by the dedicated service of current Moraine Valley students trained to serve as peer mentors throughout the program and beyond.
International Student Affairs
International Student Affairs provides support to international students who chose to study at Moraine Valley. The office's staff members provide students with guidance on adhering to local and international regulations, travel, housing, cross-cultural experiences, and much more.
Multicultural Student Affairs
Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) works to recruit, retain, and promote degree completion of students of color and individuals with limited English. MSA provides direct student support services and coordinates individual and group activities to promote integration into the college environment and academic success.
TRIO Educational Talent Search
Serving students in grades 6-12, Educational Talent Search is an U.S. Department of Education TRIO program designed to motivate youth to stay in school, attain academic excellence, graduate from high school and enter college. Moraine Valley runs the program at seven district middle schools or high schools schools.
TRIO Student Support Services
Student Support Services is one of three TRIO educational opportunity programs established by the U.S. Department of Education to help first-generation, low-income and disabled students with academic needs to succeed in college.
TRIO Upward Bound
Serving students who are in 9th or 10th grades at Eisenhower High School, Upward Bound is an U.S. Department of Education TRIO program designed to improve academic, career and personal skills to prepare students to be successful in high school and go on to enroll in college.
Veterans Services
Veterans Services provides support to veterans and/or their dependents who are pursuing a degree or certificate using veterans benefits. The veterans coordinator will help guide students on their educational journey.
Women in Technology
The Women in Technology Mentoring Program helps women feel more comfortable entering technology careers by connecting them with experienced student and professional female mentors.
